A new idea for the hut.......textile pictures

Just finished these two ideas a nautical free machine embroidered boat picture with a scattering of buttons to complete the look. The other is a piece of pretty vintage fabric and a romantic heart decoration stitched on top to complete the look..

A special cushion for a special lady celebrating her 80th birthday.........

A present requested for a mother and grandmother celebrating her 80th birthday. I was told that she loved her garden and greens and pink were the colours chosen.......this is the finished gift.

As some of these inspirational sayings are becoming quite popular I have picked the one " life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass it's about learning to dance in the rain."   Different styles and colour ways are being experimented with.........

I had enough fabric to make a matching cushion to the live, laugh, love cushion and kept the romance theme alive with hearts and buttons.......

A different style and boat requested by some friends for their Grandsons christening. Hopefully a lovely keepsake for his special day.........

Live - Laugh - Love............

A rustic version of my cushion with the Live, Laugh, Love saying. I have used a soft rustic brick colour for the wording and border edge and the main fabric is a fleur de lis  with flowers and birds. I think it looks very vintage.

I have started a new collection of cushions for the new season opening of my hut which re-open for weekends down in Whitstable harbour. I am hoping for some dry weekends to enable a cheerie start to the season!!!!!!
